As part of the Belmont Surgery development for Assura, the brownfield site and former home of the Henderson Hospital was able to accommodate the construction of 3no 4-bedroom townhouses, each with good sized rear gardens and allocated parking. The houses were designed an built to blend in with the adjacent development at Hardegray Close.

 

Although built traditionally with a masonry fabric and tiled roof covering, as part of the energy efficient nature of the scheme, the houses benefitted from enhanced insulation, solar PV arrays and dedicated electric vehicle charging points.
